Barbara Leverone, a Feldenkrais Practitioner of Somatic Education® since 1994, earned her Child’Space certification in 2009, after an intensive program in infant development.

She coaches parents and caregivers in a positive way to have fun while supporting their child’s development.

As a Senior Child’Space Trainer, she developed an international reputation teaching at certification trainings in the United States, Europe, South America and Japan.

Barbara holds a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling and advanced training and supervision in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health.

For eight years, she worked with families with typically developing babies, as well as those with preterm babies, teenage parents, and other at-risk situations through the Healthy Start Coalition of Sarasota County. In 2011, she received their Mission Award for her work with parents of substance-exposed newborns.
