Barbara Leverone

Barbara, a Feldenkrais Practitioner since 1994, received her Child’Space certification in 2009. As a Senior Child’Space trainer, she has taught at certification training in Chicago, New York, Japan, Argentina, and Charlotte, North Carolina. Barbara holds a master's degree in mental health counseling and advanced training and supervision in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health.

For eight years, she worked with families with typically developing babies, as well as those with preterm babies, teenage parents, and other at-risk situations through the Healthy Start Coalition of Sarasota County. In 2011, she received their Mission Award for her work with parents of substance-exposed newborns.
